DAWN OF THE DEAD REMAKE 2004

Sometime in 2003, while George A Romero was busy washing his hair, Zack Snyder was busy putting together a remake of Dawn of the Dead. Much to everyones surprise he not only produce a blistering homage to Romero’s 1978 classic, but he also produced what could easily be considered the best Zombie flick ever made.

Throughout this truly excellent romp Snyder delivers every perfectly timed cliche with his bloody tongue stuck firmly in his bloody cheek in a manner befitting the master himself.

One can only imagine that Romero would happily disembowel Mr. Snyder every time he compares this magnificent piece of schlock horror to the rather lame LAND OF THE DEAD he produced in 2005.
